View of Wilfred Thesiger's party at a well in the plains below Hamrat ad Duru, during the party's journey from Masruq well to Al Hubi village. On the left members of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin travelling party group around a well, watching while a two members of the party dig out the well. Alaiwa bin Lutaiya, a tribesman of the Marakhin lineage of Duru Bedouin, stands at the furthest left. On the right two camels wait for water on the wet ground. In the distance beyond a vast sand flat stretches uninterrupted into the far distance.
