Standing half length portrait of a young man of the Duru Bedouin, likely a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, at a well in the plains below Hamrat ad Duru, during the party's journey from Masruq well to Al Hubi village. The young man stands with his body turned towards the right. He is smiling. He wears a plain ghutra (headscarf) topped with an 'agal (head rope) and dark thobe (shirt).
