Profile portrait of Salim bin Ghabaisha and Salim bin Kabina, two of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions, standing on a rock outcrop in Ras Al Khaimah Emirate. Salim bin Ghabaisha, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of the Rashid Bedouin, stands on the left, leaning on a rifle. Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of the Rashid Bedouin, stands on the right, carrying a rifle over his shoulder. Each man wears a khanjar (dagger) on a cartridge belt over his thobe (long shirt).
