Portrait of three members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party sitting with water skins at Ma' Shadid well in Dhofar. Salim bin Tamtaim, sheikh of the Bayt Ghuwas lineage of Bayt Kathir Bedouin, sits on the far left. Musallim bin Anauf, a young boy of Bayt Giidad lineage of Bayt Kathir Bedouin, sits in the middle between Salim bin Tamtaim and another man.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
