Description

Three-quarter length portrait of two Duru women and a child at a well north of Al Ain. Two women and a child stand in the sand beside a wooden post hung with gear. The woman on the right has her arms around a young boy standing in front of her. Both women wear burqa (masks) over their faces and black scarves over their upper bodies. The woman on the left holds a water skin in her hands. The women were on their way to Dubai from Al Ain.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
