Description
Half length portrait of Salim bin Kabina, one of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions, at a well in the Wadi al 'Ayn. Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, stands facing forward. He is wearing a cartridge belt and leather suspenders. His long hair hangs down to his shoulders beneath a dark coloured headscarf.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
