Description
Portrait of Muhammad al Auf, a tribesman of the Bayt Mbarik lineage of Rashid Bedouin and one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions, standing with a camel in the Al Batin sands. Muhammad al Auf poses next to his camel holding a rifle, a camel stick, and the head-rope for his camel. His camel, saddled and loaded with baggage, looks towards the camera.
