Description
Side view of a boom, a large double masted dhow (sailboat) built in Kuwait, moored along the shore of Bahrain Island. A boom is moored in an empty sea facing into the right distance. A small rowboat is lashed to the near side of the stern along the keel of the dhow. In the background the sea around the dhow is rippled by gentle waves, while above the sky is clear and cloudless.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
