Description
View of boats moored off the Corniche in the town of Abu Dhabi. In the foreground a trail of seaweed marks the high tide line along the length of the beach. On the left sailboats and rowboats are moored in the water along the shore. On the right a crowd of people stands around a large dhow (boat) beached on the sand alongside some square single storey houses. These houses line the beach front from the foreground into the distance on the right. In the distance along the beach another crowd of people stands at the water's edge.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
