Description
View of a number of Arab and Bedouin men, some of them from Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, at a well between Jabal Sumeini and Sharjah. In the right foreground a number of men haul water from a well opening that has been reinforced with concrete or rammed earth. On the left three men fill a large water skin. On the far left another man sits on the ground, next to one of the camels waiting around the periphery of the well. In the far distance shrubs grow on a steep sand dune.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
