Full length portrait of a captive white oryx in Dubai. A white Arabian oryx [oryx leucoryx] with long straight horns stands in a sandy central courtyard in sand littered with animal droppings. In the background a person walks through a doorway. This image was taken during Wilfred Thesiger's May 10-18, 1948 stay in Sharjah and Dubai.
