Description
View of camels belonging to Wilfred Thesiger's party watering at a falaj (irrigation channel) at the southern end of Jabal Hafit, near Al Qabil. A line of camels are couched along a long walled trough fed by a falaj. Some of the camels are drinking, and two men relax at the far end of the trough. In the far distance more of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions stand on the flat, which lies below Jabal Hafit (Jebel Hafeet). In the far background a number of trees grow on the flat.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
