Description
View of a group of Bedouin women at a well between Jabal Sumeini and Sharjah. In the central foreground three Bedouin women sit on the ground in front of a well. A fourth woman stands to the right of the group, leaning on a camel stick. Behind them a few Bedouin and Arab men, some of them from Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, haul water from a well. More men wait amongst the camels standing around the periphery of the well. In the further distance shrubs grow on a steep sand dune.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
