View of the limestone cliffs of Jebel Hafeet [Jabal Hafit] mountain. In the foreground a steep wall of limestone rises into a high peak. In the foreground boulders and shale sit, half in shadow, along the bottom of the cliff. Wilfred Thesiger spent a week on Jebel Hafeet [Jabal Hafit] hunting Arabian Tahr [Hemitragus jayakari] with Arab and Bedouin guides in April 1948.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
