Description
View of one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions leading three camels in the Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, during the party's journey towards Al Humrah sands. On the left one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions leads a line of three camels past tufts of qassis (sedge) and other vegetation growing in the near right foreground. In the distance beyond a sand dune dotted with vegetation rises into a low crest below a vast cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
