Description
Group portrait of five of Sheikh Shakhbut bin Sultan Al Nahyan's retainers sitting on the Corniche in Abu Dhabi. The man in the centre holds a rifle, while the four people sitting on either side of him hold camel sticks. Some of the men wear silver embossed daggers (khanjars) on belts over their shirts (thobe), and all are wearing headscarves. In the background moored boats sit on the water behind the men.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
