Description
Full length standing portrait of two men in front of Al Fahidi fort in the Bastakiya Quarter. Two men wearing waistcoats over their thobes (long shirts) and holding camel sticks stand in the sand beside a wall. Behind them sits a large 'arish building made of palm fronds. One of its woven panels has been removed to expose a room, possibly a shop. Directly behind it a square corner tower of Al Fahidi fort rises high above the building. The tower is one storey higher than the fort walls, and tower parapet is decorated with square blocks atop its outer wall.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
