Description
View of locals in a suq (market) in the city of Dubai. In the foreground a middle-aged man and two boys walk along a covered thoroughfare in a market. On the left two women sit in the shade beside an 'arish hut. Further back a crowd of people gathers in front of a large stone or coral building fronted with a large canopy covered with palm fronds. Many market sellers sit in the shade on the right, opposite the buildings, while purchasers stand looking at the merchandise. In the right foreground a man sits beside a basket with a large pile of herbs spread out on a blanket in front of him.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
