Description
View of an abal bush growing amongst rolling dunes in Al Batin sands in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali). Successive dune ridges rise from the near foreground into the far distance. At the far right a large clump of abal (calligonum comosum) grows on the side of a dune. A line of footprints marks the sand in the foreground.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
