Description
Standing three-quarter length portrait of a herds boy of the Rashid Bedouin with a female camel in the sands near Al Ain. The boy stands on the left, in front of the camel, holding his hand near her udders. The camel wears a camel udder bag suspended from a harness over her haunches, which prevents her calf from suckling her milk during the day. The boy wears a cloth tied around his waist, over his thobe (shirt), and a plain ghutra (headscarf).

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
