Description

Portrait of a boy standing in front of a badan, a small dhow (sailboat), beached on Shindagha beach in Dubai. A boy wearing a light coloured thobe (shirt) and a ghutra (headscarf) stands in front of the stern of a beached badan. Oyster shells little the sands surrounding him, and in the far right distance the ocean rises along the shore.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
