Description
View of locals at a suq (market) in the city of Sharjah. A large group of boys and a few men stand at the entrance to a suq (market) in Sharjah. Some of the boys on the left wear no shirts and have tied their headscarves around their shoulders. On the right two men stand on a stone platform, looking into the foreground over a near stone post topped with a cloth sun shade. In the background number of people stroll in and out of a market thoroughfare.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
