View of Wilfred Thesiger's party travelling in the Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, on their journey towards Al Humrah sands. In the near distance five of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions ride their camels in a line across a vast flat bare expanse of sand, heading from the left into the right distance. Behind them the bare sands rise into a line of low bare dunes that stretch out across the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
