Description
Seated portrait of a Bedouin tribesman at Sheikh Zayid bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting camp in Al Khatam sands near Al Ain. A middle-aged man with a thick dark beard kneels in soft sand looking into the near right foreground. He sits with his hands resting in his lap and a camel stick lies in the sand in front of his knees. He wears a plain ghutra (headscarf) draped over his head and chest and a worn thobe (long shirt). Behind him some bushes grow in the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
