Description
Stern view of a boom, a large double masted dhow (sailboat) built in Kuwait, moored along the shore of Bahrain Island. A rowboat floats next to the stern of a boom moored in flat, wind-rippled water. A brightly painted flage post projects from the steer above the rudder, and a large cloth canopy covers the stern deck. In the distance a few dhows are moored in the water, and far beyond, along the horizon, buildings line the shore.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
