Description
Portrait of Muhammad al Auf, a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, and a tribesman of the Wahiba Bedouin sitting beside a cooking fire in the Wadi Hawshi. Muhammad al Auf, a tribesman of the Bayt Mbarik lineage of Rashid Bedouin, sits on the left. The man of the Wahiba Bedouin sits on the right, next to a pot and other cooking accessories. He is drinking from a small cup.
