Description
View of a salt flat (sabkha) with sparse vegetation in Liwa oasis. A large sand depression lies in the foreground, bare of living vegetation. In the salt flat beyond, salt bushes are scattered across the flat. A few clusters of date palms grow along the far edge of the flat, where it is met by high, sloping dunes.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
