Description
View of two members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party riding through the desert near Umm az Zumul well. In the right foreground clump of bushes grows in the sand. In the distance beyond two of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions ride their camels across an expanse of rolling sand, heading from the far left towards the right. In the far distance a large white sabkha (salt flat) stretches out below a ridge of high rippled dunes.
