Description
Portrait of Musallim bin Al Kamam and a number of Wahiba Bedouin at Buraymah well in the Wadi Halfayn. In the foreground three men and two women stand at the opening of a well hauling water. The man on the left, wearing a large embroidered headscarf and leather suspenders over his thobe (shirt) is Musallim bin Al Kamam, a sheikh of the Musaifar lineage of Rashid Bedouin and a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party. Behind them sheep wait by the well, and in the distance beyond a line of trees and bushes grows on the flat plain.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
