Description
View of a man standing in front of houses in the city of Dubai. A man wearing a ghutra (headscarf) and a dark waistcoat over his thobe (long shirts) stands on a pathway through the remains of a demolished building surrounded by houses. Pieces of coral have been piled up on in mounds surrounding the path. On the left the remains of four columns stand next to a house. Wooden grates and bars cover most windows. A few houses have a barjeel (wind tower) on their roof.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
