View of Wilfred Thesiger's party resting under ghaf trees north of Al Ain oasis. Three of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions rest with a camel in the shade of two tall ghaf trees [Prosopis cineraria]. A few camels graze on the grass and bushes surrounding the tree. Just behind the men, on the right, a fourth man sits under a small camel. In the distance beyond large trees grow on a far hill.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
