Description
Side view of a boom, a large double masted dhow (sailboat) built in Kuwait, moored along the shore of Bahrain Island. In the foreground a moored boom sits in calm water rippled by gentle waves below a cloudless sky. A large cloth canopy has been erected over an awning at the stern of the boom. In the left background a single masted dhow is moored further out. In the distance houses and trees line the far shore.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
