Description
Portrait of Musallim bin Tafl, a tribesman of the Bayt Kathir Bedouin and one of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions, standing next to a cluster of saf palms [Nannorhops arabica]. This portrait was taken during the party's journey from Wadi Musallim to Wadi Hawshi, likely in the Wadi al Ghabah.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
