Description
View of Sultan bin Ahmad, one of the leaders of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, at a ruined fort in the cliffs above Andhur spring. Sultan bin Ahmad, a sheikh of the Sh'asha lineage of Bayt Kathir Bedouin, stands with a young boy in the midst of the fort. The walls of the fort, built from large stones, are crumbling.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
